Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of digital files do I receive when purchasing the art?

All Paramentics artwork is sold as a digital download. The artwork is delivered in ZIP files that contain JPGs, PNGs, and TIFFs. If you don’t know which format to pick, the following paragraphs will help you choose.

JPG and PNG: Both of these filetypes are suitable for smaller digital applications. They may also be used for printed materials. The PNGs are a lossless format, which means they may be edited and resized without losing their original quality. They also have a transparent background, while the JPGs retain their white background.

TIFF: This file type is ideal when printing worship folders, handouts, flyers, brochures, and postcards.

EPS: This is essentially the raw vector file of the artwork that was created in Adobe Illustrator. It is perfect for larger print materials like posters and banners, although you may certainly use it for smaller materials. Many printing companies use this file, as it produces perfectly clean lines and can be resized to any dimension.

Although worship folders, newsletters, and Bible study materials may be considered as being outreach materials, they should all have some sort of attribution included with them.

Nearly every application of the art and templates used by churches and schools would be considered "non-commercial", that is, no profit is made from the materials produced that includes the art or templates. Offerings and donations are not considered "commercial" in this case. Magazines, crafts, or other materials that are sold which include the art is commercial use. Special permission and/or license fees must be acquired in this case.

May I put the images purchased from paramentics.com on a file server at my church or school?

Yes, but only if there is no charge for the user and if electronic distribution is limited to your church or school only. The images must remain unaltered.

Am I allowed to take the images or templates purchased from paramentics.com to a new church or school?

Yes, but only if the church or school did not pay for them and they were paid for by you personally (out of your own bank account). If you did not pay for the art from your own funds, they must be purchased again by you or the church or school that you now serve.

What if I purchase the art or templates and the church or school reimburses me?

There must be a clear understanding of who the "owner" of the items is. In most cases, the owner will still be the person who originally purchased them and therefore may transfer them to another church or school if he or she moves. If this is the case, the items may not remain at the church or school after the owner has moved and must be repurchased by the church or school if they so choose.

May I put the images from paramentics.com on my personal website, Facebook page or church's/school's website?

Yes. If you have not purchased the images, only images from paramentics.com may be used and proper attribution must be included with a link back to paramentics.com. Purchased images may be used as long as they are used responsibly, the smaller sized file is used,  and proper attribution is given. Worship folders and newsletters that contain artwork purchased from this website are permitted to be posted on your site.
